In honour of my pegs!! Sounds crazy but this is the first time in 25 years I have been able to hang my washing out to stay !! So I thought I would make a bag to liven up my laundry basket !!

Morning has broken , birds are singing, the magic of a new day is dawning

Not bad for first attempt especially as leftovers from leftovers from a quilt I attempted years ago! The only item purchased was the leather straps and rivets. The waxed cloth from my stash which is ever growing! If I made again there are things I would amend, like the top row of pattern disappearing!! Overall though I am happy

Late breakfast at the jet wood, scrambled eggs and coffee and a wonderfully colourful show. So uplifting, just what I needed . Oh and the geometric pattern!! Making a tote bag

Artichokes Violetta have sprung into life, some for my borders and some for kitchen garden. Roll on summer!
