As always, should have stopped whilst it was looking good!! , knowing when to stop is something I haven’t learnt yet. Will I ever learn !!!!

The urge to paint came over me this afternoon. Always does when I listen “the waves, Tuesday “ by max Richter. It is a very moving piece indeed. Strange last time I listened to this , and it’s usually over and over, I made a series charcoal sketches. All women. This one, watercolour, gouache, acrylics, charcoal and pencils . an acceptable start

Perfect afternoon yesterday. spent time with splendid company, plenty of tea, cakes and sausage rolls! oh! And of course plenty of flower and veg talk!
