Full Moon

The weekend saw the Full Moon in Leo with Venus and Mars astride.  A Full Moon is light (the Sun) fully illuminating what is hidden or unconscious (the Moon) – so that should be viewed as something that the Universe decrees as having arrived at a time when it needs to be exposed and so brought closer to being resolved.   It prompts us to take a good look at how courageous we are. Do we have what it takes to see things through? Are we brave enough to confront what is necessary to make the long-lasting changes? The Sun in Aquarius reminds us to be progressive and creative and learn to take a step back and view things from a more balanced perspective.  To read more see the article on my other website livingenergyhealer.com

This image is one that seems to be evolving since its conception a few weeks ago, it started with thoughts of mother earth, her bounty, her glory, abundance and fullness as she gives birth to our flora and fauna.  My sketch just flowed out across the page, trees blossomed and grew leaves, some had shed them and their roots grew deep in the earth……….  The light of the moon illuminated the trees, and somehow the sun’s journey is traced in the underworld as the moon takes its nightly trip across the skies.

The Universal Mother

Pachamamma. 2058

Every day, since the beginning of time, the earth, the wondrous mother earth has supported us. Under our feet every moment of our lives,  she is here to provide for us. The moist magical blood of the mother, the feminine energies that swell and give birth to abundance on this planet. Wonderful Pachamama.

The Divine mother comes in many guises, in Greece for example, DEMETER, mother of Persephone, tall in stature, full hipped, wide shouldered, swollen breasts always full of milk, the milky way is said to flow through her ……….  as she walks the earth flowers spring from her footprints, she is the bringer of the seasons.

In Egypt, ISIS, she who gives birth to the heaven and earth, the Queen of the heavens, Mother of the gods, the light giver of heavens and she who knows how to make right use of the heart.

In Roman history she was known as CERES. in the Andean communities she is knows as PACHAMAMA,

This detail is from a much larger painting in homage to her.

One hump or two !!

Surreal detail DSC_1069-EditBeautiful day, hot, blue skies …………..  driving through Glynde, top down, wind in my hair.  Out of the corner of my eye my a brown blur, my intuition was telling me it was a camel!! How random I thought,   so turned around and went back to look.  Sure enough there standing in his magnificent wild splendor at the far end of the field stood this gorgeous camel.  Seeing me, he  walked over, so tall! and so friendly, he just loved me stroking his nose and kept pushing me with his head for more! and when I attempted to photograph him he tried to engulf my lens.

This fine specimen is actually Camelus Bactrianus, a Bactrian camel for short! and his original home would have been Mongolia: a place I visited many years ago, but thats another story, a long one!

Standing about 9ft tall with fairly long shaggy hair with and very upright humps!  A sure sign he is well fed and looked after.  When a camel is on a long trek and food is scarce it starts to use its stored fat and the “humps” become floppy and lean to one side!!

I read when a camel comes into your life it means that more than ever to trust your intuition for guidance, paying close attention to your senses and what they’re telling you.  That we have a lot more energy and durability for the task ahead than we think we do.  The road ahead maybe difficult and wewont have a lot of support,we must take it with complete trust that we have everything we need within us and that we will succeed.

It ended by saying “you’ll never want for anything” !!Just a stroll in the sussex countryside DSC_1065-EditCamels 1 1061-Edit

orange vibrates all that is creative and sensual

tulip-black-background-dsc_0943_2sfOrange, what a beautiful and exciting colour………  what I find do incredible is that all winter this tulips magnificence is slumbering deep within a shrivelled looking brown bulb!!  The sun warms the soil; the days lengthen and up shoot sturdy green growth, big swollen buds that burst open in a riot of colour.  My daughter planted a huge bed full  of orange tulips  in her front garden and they look so vibrant and exciting.

Orange is the colour of our second chakra, the sacral chakra, located in the sacred bowl of the pelvis where it connects to the sacrum.    This is the centre of the emotional system, all that is sensual and creative emanates from this area as the chakra spins.  Embedded in this area also is our childhood development of age 6-12, we start to explore, identify emotions and learn to create in all areas from our new experiences.  For some children this is an exciting time to explore the world outside of the home and come back to the safety and support of the family, for others this is not the case, the family support is not there or can be perceived as “not there”, for this reason there is a lot of “emotion” held in this chakra, old stored energy that blocks and stops the chakra from spinning freely.  From a shamanic perspective this is where we cleanse and clear these energies, clear the imprints that have built up on the luminous energy field

orange-tulipWhen we clear this chakra we connect to our emotions, we no longer feel disconnected from life, we “feel” them and they move us create, change and growth.  Connecting to our emotions are essential, how are we going to move forward and change if we cant identify and work with what is truly going on inside of us.  Without this chakra being fully cleansed the energies cannot flow fully through the chakra system.orange-tulip-2-dsc_0937sf

A path well travelled

carols-personal-mapI haven’t posted much in terms of my artistic creativity of late, have been busy creating in other areas of my life.

There are many seeds that are constantly being planted deep within, some are small and need constant tending to enable them to flourish and burst through into bloom, some have vigorous growth, some are dormant having spent all their energy on seeding themselves, resting and restoring their energy.  Some have strong roots and healthy growth that have flowered and are now bearing fruit.  As you can see by my image, there is abundant growth that constantly changes, this was actually done in 2006, if I were to to do this again the paper would have to be huge, so much has grown, born fruit and self seeded !!

One of those strong root systems with loads of new shoots that are bearing fruit is a PATH WELL TRAVELLED.  This path has been a long journey in finding me, a healing journey for many, many years, leading me to numerous adventures, teachings, teachers, therapists, workshops, training, research and books.  The path has led me far and wide, Hawaii, India, California, Egypt, China, Mongolia, to name but a few, a rich tapestry of colourful experiences.  Two of the most significant shoots that set me seeing my world differently and ultimately changed the course of my life is The Hoffman Process And  The Four Winds Society Healing the light body school, culminating in myself and two fellow graduates creating magnificent fruit in the form of our own collective teaching and workshops, LIVING ENERGY HEALING http://www.livingenergyhealing.com

During 2008 we helped many people through an energetic process that has allowed us to sow seeds for them, to see that they too can grow them and bear fruit and stand in their own true power.  For 2009 and beyond we are in the midst of producing a series of workshops THE WAY OF THE SHAMAN to help even more people start that journey.

I also do shamanic energy work on a one to one basis and remotely by phone, please visit my site at http://www.livingenergyhealer.com for more details
