This is all new to me, something stirred within when I needle felted some small sleeping mice. The mice went on to sleeping and dreaming bunnies, then a rabbit made with pipecleaners and needle felting. Now a second one, only this time with a much sturdier armature. It definitely stands better and easier to “pose” but something in the rigidness that takes away its softness and vulnerability. Now realise that its in the eyes and the expression, and I am sure that as I work away there is something of me that shines through them. As the months have passed an amazing story has come along side, and it starts after the first world war in an old walled kitchen garden that has gone into decline.
